What is the time period in which I should book my move?
State Wide Relocation suggests you to book your moving service as early as possible to avoid confusion. We do organize urgent or last minute moves but it is better to give time for making proper arrangements. There are few months of the year when we are extremely busy and some part of the year when we are little slow with work. Therefore it is a good idea to appoint your mover in advance. A two weeks notice is enough for preparing for a move but at times we are busy for consecutive days, so a months notice in advance is perfect.

Will my furniture be packed by the movers?
Yes, State Wide Relocation provides packing service for all your belongings. Our professional packers are expert in packing your stuff to guarantee security. We pack everything under your roof with lasting and strong materials. We use bubble wrappers, vinyl wrappers, crates etc. we do not charge for the blankets and tapes used to secure your items.

I want to insure my few valuable goods that are in nice shape as most of my goods are junk?
If you want additional valuation, then you will have to deposit a good amount for the complete shipment deciding on junk and non-junk. But if you move with State Wide relocation with a total shipment pricing above $50,000, then you may not have to purchase additional valuation on the day of the move and will need to make prior arrangements.

What is the period of time in which I should start packing the goods?
The packing timeframe is based on the items in the house. Remember packing is very important in a move and it should be done with utmost care. Consider the packing time while planning or setting a time limit for it. Start packing as soon as you can. Begin from the items that are rarely used and slowly move down to stuffs that are regularly used and don’t forget to label them. You can pack one room in a day or two or three or during the weekends if you have limited time.

What will happen if there is any brakeage caused by the movers?
It depends on various factors. If any of your belongings are damaged or broken and you have opted for additional valuation, then we will repair the item. If it is irreparable, then we will reimburse it according to the then market value of that particular item. If you opt for outside insurance coverage, all your claims will be handled by our active, able insurance company directly. We have a dedicated claims manager and expert repairperson.
